‘Debits’ and ‘Credits’ are 2 sides of the same coin. The same coin which has ‘Debit’ on 1 side has ‘Credit’ on another side. In the same way, the same human being who is sinful is as capable of virtue. Sins and virtue go hand in hand.
There are those where the debits of one’s karma and actions shines with unfortunate brightness. A man who fails to help those in need, who breaks the heart of his fellow brethren often, who does not observe good values, and whose life is a reflection of wastefulness and negligence. Indeed, a man of debitful karma has only himself to blame.
And then we have men of positive and creditful karma. A man who is contented, and grateful. Who with humility asks for the forgiveness of his mistakes. Who is patient in times of distress. And with love in his heart, he spreads peace all around him. He is a reflection of good humanity and truthfulness. Indeed, the credit for his credit is his.
In reality, life is a mix of debits and credits. Man passes not a day without sinning. And such as the negativity of a man manifests itself everyday, he has an opportunity to redeem himself and multiply his virtue and goodness. The choice is in the hands of man.
Debit and credit is an accounting terminology. In the financial books and balance sheet, the debits and credits have to balance. In this balance lies the financial correctness of reporting and justice.
However, in real life, man has the freedom of his will to either fall a prey to his weaknesses or with the force and power of his righteousness create in himself an angelic self. He can be a super debit or a super credit or somewhere in between. The choice is his. The actions are his.
The choice of debit and credit is fully in the hands of man. Neither can he blame someone for his debit nor can anyone else take away the praise of his credit. Man builds the building of his life and soul himself. Man creates his own destiny through his own determination.
The escape of a painful debit may not be possible as the law of karma perfectly regulates human life. Therefore, man needs to be beware. He needs to fear God.
The rewards of a worthy credit will definitely be showered on the individual. Therefore, in this lies man’s hope for reward. He needs to love God.
Through the dual mechanism of fear of God and love of God, God implements his system of justice through the law of karma, thus ensuring punishment and sufferings for debits and rewards and bounties for credits. It is upto man to use God’s transparent system to his advantage. God governs with justice. You deserve to be in the good books of that just King.
